I fished Backwash Bay on April 31. On the end toward the big rocks has a lot less rocks. We caught bait with sabiki rigs. Had some really good bites, but did not catch anything of size. Caught a nice croaker and a few other small species of fish.
I would suggest going to Playa Pan Dulce. Thats where the locals fish down there.
