There's a couple local ponds i hit up if i got 30-45 minutes to get my line wet. The weather decided to brighten up Saturday and i got out of work early so...Got there and conditions were perfect. 70 degrees and visibility was clear. Deepest pond may get is 10-11 feet at center. I started witha light blue x-wrap with intentions of changing to a worm...never did. In the hour I was there I caught 3a and loss 2...1 about 3 feet from the shore and he came off. Movement oc the lure was slow with longer pauses between jerks right off the shore. They were schooling next to any structure. Great time and great sign the season is upon us!
