Buddy and I traveled over to Townsend TN today to take part in some trout fishing just outside of the Smokey Mountain National park. We didnt get on the river till 9:45 but we knew some would still be out. Ofcourse you can catch them on about anything that looks like an egg so we tried a challenge and threw xwraps on ultra lite reels. Not only is it a nice challenge but we got a great little surprise today showing that the season is upon us. Nice smallmouth in trout water. All together 7 rainbows and 1 smallmouth. Beautiful day up in the mountains.
