Fishing has been hit and miss with the extreme high tides due to the moon, winds, and other conditions. Offshore today there were some yellowfin tna caught, albacore, seabass, mahi mahi.  It was a good trip for anglers in the blue water.  Inshore a few people have been picking at the flounder.  Our ficture Jersey Rich has been steady at them picking up 3 keepers out of 10 bucktailing the CHincoteague Channel.  Dick leatherly caught a  36'' 10 3/4 pound bluefish caught in the Chincoteague Channel Wednesday afternoon.  When fishing is spotty try some different techniques.  We have the largest arsenal of rigs, bucltails, jigs, gulp, frozen, and lve baits around.  We will also show you how to use these to maximize your catching.  We have some double bucktail rigs hand tied which work great with the bucktailing method.  We also have in fresh bunker and BIG minnows too.  Stop on in and send in some fishing pictures to info@stevesbaitandtackle.com

Our new TIDE CHARTS WITH A FREE MAP OF THE ISLAND HAVE ARRIVED STOP ON IN THEY HAVE COUPONS AND A LOT OF INFORMATION LIKE SIZE AND LIMITS OF THE FISH.  Its is looking to be a great weekend for fishing.  Beautiful weather and light winds.  Tight Lines!
