MAY 22- The Low Tide

THE FISH ARE IN! What a day today. It is now 6pm and we are still hearing stories about low tide in the river. Didn’t matter if you hiked it to the jetties, fished the sandbar, or were closer inside near the Captain’s Fishing Parties. Fish were a plenty. And guess what…………….not just that SP was working. I have reports of fish on bait from worms, clams, herring, and mackerel………….to lures like the Hurley sandeel or other soft plastics, bucktail jigs, and yes the SP. They were hungry and as of 30 minutes ago still biting. That was my last report from a couple of guys that had caught their last fish then but were just in for more bait and contemplating on what to do next. Go back to the river or hit the oceanfront.
