About August 11th - Megacat Mission Bay Sportfishing Report
This past week the fishing went from red hot coastal fishing to just real good fishing. We had lots and lots of calico bass, several thresher sharks (released), 100+ pound Black Seabass (released), White Seabass, and 100+ other fish.
While coastal trips are doing great we've also started heading offshore as well. Last week our offshore trip had lots and lots of fish but they just wouldn't bite, probably due to being close to the full moon, but we never really know why fish bite one day, or time of day, and don't bite the other days or times.
Nonetheless Captain Brice and First Mate Sean are among the best in the business, they never give up trying to achieve the goals of our anglers. Fortunately the anglers today were able to not only find the fish, but they got to bring home 12 Dorado and 2 Yellowtail, making for some excellent meals in the coming days. Well done gentlemen!
