But Before we get to all of that we had a Very Special Occurrence in a Young Man's Life occur on Hatteras Island. Wheeler Ballance, Son of Our Fire Chief Todd Ballance Caught his First BIG DRUM.  I can not explain to you the magnitude of this FIRST of Many Drum to be Caught by this Fine Young Man.  It gives me Goosebumps just Typing this Report. Because Everyone Remembers their First Big Drum From the Beach.  Just Spoke to Todd they were coming back from Getting Wheelers Drivers License.  Betcha he was more excited about the Drum.  

OffShore:     

Wahoo have Shown up to around 80 Pounds.  Several of our Boats had Citations.  BlackFins, Triggers, YellowFins (scattered).   But Fishing has been Great for my last 2 days off.  I managed to get over to the Marina to take the Pictures So it was nice to see the Catch and the First Wahoo's of the Season come in.  

InShore: 

Citation Sheepshead Citation Drum and Blues have kept Sound Anglers Happy.  Been Nice enough past few days a few of them went Near Shore Wreck Fishing and Did well on the Bottom Fish.  

Beach: 

Citation Drum Everywhere, Blues and Sea Mullets pretty Much all over too.  If you are a Report Fisherman lets just say you have been missing it the past two days.  Sometimes ya Just got to Go For It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rong Woody of Garner NC had a 9 Pound 4 Ounce Sheeps Head aboard the Hallelujah.   

Andrew Woody of Raleigh NC caught an 8 Pound 6 Ounce Sheeps Head aboard the Hallelujah.  

Andrew Woody of Raleigh NC caught an 13 Pound 3 Ounce Sheeps Head aboard the Hallelujah.

Jesus Sanchez of Ranson WV had a 49 Pound Wahoo aboard the Runaway.  

Austin Reynolds of Charles Town West By God Virginia had a 44 Pound Wahoo Aboard the Runaway.  

John Chenault of Chesapeake VA had a 73 Pound Wahoo aboard Fishin Buds.  

Kelsey Mawyer of Moseley VA had a 50 and a 48 inch Drum aboard the Bak-Bar.    

Kevin  Mawyer of Moseley VA had 48 inch Drum aboard the Bak-Bar.  

Marshall Lentz of Downington PA had a 48 Inch Red Drum aboard the Hallelujah.  

Arthur Underwood of Thaxton VA had a 51 and a 48 Inch Drum aboard the Bak Bar.  

Weslen Glover of Pamplin Va had a 27 Pound BlackFin Tuna aboard the Marlin Mania.
