The wife and I decided to celebrate our 20th anniversary in French Polynesia. In Bora Bora, I chartered a boat with Bora Bora Sport Fishing. With a short ride to the deep waters, we were quickly trolling around the beautiful island.
We started the morning catching a couple of Wahoo not far from the inlet. Lost a nice one after a short fight. Later we caught a couple of Yellowfin Tuna around some birds. Shortly after we got a decent Yellowfin in the boat, our first of two Blue Marlin were caught. We ended the day with a second Blue Marlin close to the FAD North of the inlet.

I was impressed with the boat, skills of the captain and mate, as well as all of the gear. With great views of the island(s) the entire time, I had one of my best fishing days, and the first time I've caught a double of Blue Marlin. I would highly recommend Bora Bora Sport Fishing.
