Adolfo and America. A typical day at the office for Adolfo.
Offshore (average) surface water temperature-
Includes from the 5 to 6 mile mark at the 100 fathom line, then to the 1,000 fathom line being about 32 miles:
88°
Inshore (average) surface temperature
. From the beach to about 5 miles: About
88°
Blue water:
(Chlorophyll amounts and surface temps from Terrafin SST) Blue water, near the beach, and all the way out. With the exception of the outflows of the Rio Balsas up at Lazaro Cardines.
Kha got this sailfish only a couple of hundred yards off the beach. They
were trolling back to the port to maybe get a dorado. He took it on a spin rod.
Offshore:
With few clients fishing, it is hard to tell. There are sailfish, for sure. From the commercial fishermen, selling their fish on the beach on Playa Principal, there are blue marlin, tuna, and lots of sailfish.
Michael's first ever fish
Inshore:
Again, there has been few clients, but the roosters are here. This was proven by Adolfo, on the panga Dos Hermanos, yesterday (Wednesday). Kha Nguyen, with friends America and Michael fished with Adolfo. They are from Orange County, CA. and only a few miles from where I grew up.
Kha, wi5h one of his two roosters
He emailed me this:
We did have a great day of fishing. We caught 4 roosters, lost one, and I caught a sailfish. We also got a few black skipjack tuna as well. We all had an amazing time and would definitely do it again. It was Michael's first time fishing ever, and he was stoked to catch a rooster his first time out.
