I ran my 1st trip since our new addition and with some extra time in the morning I worked some areas for striped bass on the fly (yellow clouser). I ended with 6 short stripers on the fly for my pre-charter fishing - its nice to cast from a stable deck thanks to MinnKota.
I had Mark Odendahl and his 3 boys (9yr old Patrick, 12yr old Connor, and 13yr old Luke). We worked some shallow areas in the back and the crew released close to 60 fluke with 7 keepers up to 24 inches. We did have two others that were 18 that were released. Great job and Happy Birthday Patrick!!
