June was a spectacular month of fishing! After inconsistent temperatures the cold air finally moved in! We have had an amazing bite for crappie and hybrids! The largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing has been ok but they have not set into their winter patterns just yet. All three species we have been catching in 20-60ft of water!

As the water temperature dropped with the cooler nights both bass and crappie started migrating shallow. Rattle traps crankbaits and spinnerbaits were productive in shallow water around boulder rocks and isolated wood. The crappie also moved shallow into 8-12ft brushpiles. Minnows were the most productive for us. Lastly the hybrids began schooling...

October was a fun month! Wind blown pockets and coves with shad offered exciting bass fishing action!  As the water level dropped the quality bass moved aggressively into shallow water and hugged boulder rocks in hunt for crawfish and shad.
