Along the Outer Banks beaches we are catching spot croakers sea mullet and bluefish. Water temp is 72 degrees in Duck today.

We have been catching lots of bottom fish on bait and plenty of bluefish mackerel and hound fish on small artificial jig fish. Water temp today is 74 degrees. Our fishing charters have also been doing great these past few days.

We focus on redfish quite a bit in the summer as they don't seem to mind the 90 degree water temperatures. But mid august through october the magic happens as these guys school up in large numbers before they head offshore to spawn. My Joyce IIIMontauk NYThe My Joyce III enjoyed good fishing on the days we could sail this week. There were plenty of species to catch- from jumbo seabass to fluke and stripers. The only down note was a weekend shark trip that was very slow due to the warm water and non existent drifting conditions. But other than that it was good week of fishing....
