UPDATED RAYMARINE INSTRUCTION HERE: http://fishingstatus.com/places/maps/instructions/raymarine

In the download for the fishing spots map, you will want to use the *.rwf file. Put that file on your CF or SD card you you will be able to import directly into your unit.

1. Insert the CF card into the C series unit
2. Hit DATA button
3. Push ARCHIVE AND TRANSFER softkey
4. Push RETRIEVE FROM CARD softkey
5. From SELECT LIST select WPT
6. Push RETRIEVE ALL softkey
8. Resolve any conflicts for data that already exists on the chartplotter (by overwriting, ignoring, or adding a dupe)

If your unit does not allow the import of rwf files, you can also use RayTech Planner software to create the Archive.fsh file and add to your SD card.

The files are not downloading as .rwf but as an excel file...

How do I get the right file format through my subscription?

All map zip files should have a RWF file included in it. Are you downloading one of the files from one of the locations found here: http://fishingstatus.com/Places/Maps.aspx ?

If so, please let us know which location that does not have the RWF file so we can investigate.
