Largemouth bass fishing should get better as it warms up. The southern end of the lake will be the most productive because of the consistency in water temperature and better water clarity. As the water clears up from the rains, the bass will begin stacking up on main lake points, rock and red clay banks. These locations will provide more warmth and the bass will be on them.

Striped Bass and Hybrid bass will remain best around the bridges and in deeper water. As the dogwoods start to bloom, the Black Crappie will be on bed and fishing for them will be on fire. Re is also a good chance for Bluegill Bream, Channel Catfish, and Blue Catfish.
