Left Ocean City, MD headed toward Washington canyon. Found some Dolphinfish on some crab/lobster pots. Not long after reaching the canyons, we caught the first Yellowfin tuna. We had a bigeye bite right before sunset, but the line parted. After a few more laps in the Whale Hole, we hooked up again with a good one on the smallest reel in the spread of course. 3.5 hours later we boated a 226 pound Bigeye Tuna. Chunking on the drift only produced a deep water dog shark. After slow morning of trolling we dropped for a swordfish. Hooked up on first drop but pulled it off. The second drop we hooked up again with a nice marker that ended up being a release. Good trip.
