Brant of Ocean Isle Fishing Center reports that bottom fishing has been solid in the 80-100’ depths lately. Anglers dropping baited bottom rigs to structure in that range are connecting with black sea bass beeliners grunts amberjacks and more.

May’s fishing has been hot!  Offshore deep drop fishing couldn’t be better with limits of blueline tilefish caught some of them weighing up to 15 pounds.  Some impressive 15 pound golden tilefish also made their way on board.

Late fishing report for October 15, 2019 Caught a couple of bailer dolphin. Caught some Blackbelly Rose Fish on bottom. Missed a Swordfish in Pamlico Canyon. Came in and caught Black Sea Bass on the Rock Pile.

November brought us some excellent black sea bass fishing.  Monster black drum flounder & triggerfish rounded out the catches. We’ve added 12-hour trips throughout December and you’ll want to be on them!
