Black Sea Bass

Brant of Ocean Isle Fishing Center reports that bottom fishing has been solid in the 80-100’ depths lately. Anglers dropping baited bottom rigs to structure in that range are connecting with black sea bass beeliners grunts amberjacks and more.

May’s fishing has been hot!  Offshore deep drop fishing couldn’t be better with limits of blueline tilefish caught some of them weighing up to 15 pounds.  Some impressive 15 pound golden tilefish also made their way on board.
