Valerie and her father from Texas came aboard for a half day. Valerie is an avid fisherman and was lucky enough to catch a 400lb blue marlin which we released and the caught a nice spearfish for dinner!

Caught a nice spearfish today on the first trip. Second trip was later in the afternoon so decided to do a little bottom Jigging which produced a grey snapper for Roy!!Trolling has slowed down the last few days for us and the rest of the Kona fleet.

Went 3/5 from billfish. Releasing 2 blue marlin and capturing a shortnose spearfish. Fishing in Kona is getting pretty consistent and we are seeing blue marlin or spearfish every trip. We stick about 65% of our bites from these type of fish… B
