Ryan of Hatteras Jack reports that anglers fishing inshore have had success landing red drum on cut bait at night. Speckled trout are also feeding in the sound and are willing to take a soft plastic rigged on a popping cork or on a 1/4 oz. jig head.

Today was a bit warmer than it has been. Fishing was good too. Speckled Trout and Red Drum caught from the beaches here in Buxton. Sea Mullet in Avon along with some good size Black Drum there as well. See you out there.
