We had a nearshore charter on the Stormy Petrel II this morning and fishing was excellent for Bluefish out near Shelly Island and for Spanish Mackerel along the South Beach. The weather is looking good for the days ahead and we have days open later this week also some days next week. Our boat is the only one on Hatteras Island running private charters for more than six people and our rates are quite competitive. Ten people can rent the whole boat for a half day for not much more than what it costs to go on a four hour headboat trip.
