April 25th These boys grabbed 5 pizzas from our local Sister Italian Restaurant and we headed out fishing.  The night prior was lights out Tarpon fishing....so I was ready to get back out.  Six to the boat in 3 hours of fishing Boca Grande Pass.

Paul caught his first Tarpon of his life.  His smile was ear to ear!  I love my job.

Fished 3 trips today back to back to back.  Caught Macks Snook Trout Jacks Ladyfish Blue runners Bluefish  and 1 really fine Snook on the last trip of the day.

Picked up my clients on North Captiva island this morning.  Another slow morning in the flats of Charlotte Harbor led us to an exciting adventure.  Mid morning we packed up our gear and made a cruise out of Captiva Pass and into the Gulf of Mexico.  FROM THE FIRST CAST..........TO THE LAST BAIT!  We caught Mackerel between 2 and 5 pounds

Today was a slow day in the Backcountry Flats for me today.  I struggled to get anything good going.  We did manage to catch a rat redfish a few small Snook and an assortment of other random fish.  Not the day I expected to have but we call it Fishing not catching.......
