This is a good place to stop on the way back from The Point. You can catch Black Seabass here regularly. There are usually some nice Amberjack here during the warmer months. Once during the winter we were catching big bull Red Drum on mullet here.

Offshore seas were calm today and the Mahi-Mahi were chewing great in 80-150 feet of water. Lots of lifter sized Mahi were feeding on artificials and live baits along weed lines an current rips. Bottom fishing was also productive for Sharks Lane Snap

This is a good trolling area for kings and alberts. Some Black Seabass on bottom. Several wreck and pieces of wrecks in this area that make it a decent location to fish a certain times of the year.

The fall fishing season will be heating up. Come join us for some seabass action aboard the Benchmark Beginning October 18th. We can split the day between stripers and Seabass and we can even do a little blackfish at 1 a man.  

Today I took out Ron Kappler his son and friends from Ohio. We filled the coolers with Spadefish Black Seabass and landed some Monster Jacks
