The weather has been very nice and fishing has been good overall in the backcountry of Islamorada. Capt. Rick Stanczyk has reported very good summe time tarpon fishing in the everglades backcountry. Lots of smaller fish mostly 'the residents'

October has brought us our first cold front of the Fall season. This usually pushes different fish to different places and brings us some welcome cooler temperatures. While it is just a few degrees it can make a BIG difference on the fishing! Capt.

We have been seeing and catching some nice tarpon both in the daylight and at night. And some crazy night time action………. The bonefishing has been really good too
