Wind seas calm. Heading North out of Anclote haven’t been out in a couple days hoping the fish are still home. Turned out to be a decent day. Ended up drift fishing all day and hopping from one spot to the next never spending too much time on a spot that wasnt producing. We would usually get the bulk of our catch in the first 15 min then it would d...

After many trips of combatting high winds and seas the weather Gods were finally pretty nice to us this trip! Of course nothing can be perfect when it comes to the weather in Florida so we did have a squall come in at the end of the trip which lasted most of the ride home but during the trip the conditions were pretty nice for us. We had a good ste...

A fun one today as I wrapped up my tarpon season and I was able to put my brother Jeff on his first tarpon. Jeff and I Don't get to spend to much time together and he's been asking me forever to experience a tarpon fight. Well today was his day and he did great. He made a perfect presentation and soon enough launched one in the air. He had about a...

Weather….so let’s be honest the weather so far this June has been a tough one. These summer squalls have brought some tough winds with them. We did have a couple hours on this trip where the weather was very nice but other than that we have been getting our butt kicked. Thankfully even through the crazy unpredictable winds and seas we are still man...

Another successful day with the tarpon and Jim and I had our good friend Chris from down South join us for the day. We set up again and patiently waited for the fish to come through. Soon enough we had a little window of activity and we were in fish. Chris was up and he did a terrific job feeding a whopper of a tarpon. He hooked up and about 40 mi...

Jim and I found some happy tarpon today and we were blessed to bring one boatside. The fish were migrating through as we waited off a point and the DOA baitbuster got us the bite. Lead the fish by a couple feet and a slow roll usually will get a hook up. They don't always stay connected but wen they do it sure is fun.... Capt. Dan

Alright let’s see here we had some “fun” with the weather on this one! Gotta love the weather man!! Throughout the trip we had around 20kts of winds but with summer comes the summer squalls and one of these bad boys gave us some crankin winds for a couple hours towards the end of the 2nd day. But after it passed the seas laid down just in time for...

Jim and I got a super early start today and we had some luck on some river tarpon at daylight. Him and I found some rolling fish and we each jumped on on fly and spin tackle. That was short lived though as the sun came up and we soon enough ran back in the creeks for some snook action. The snook were biting well and we had a double digit day on gl...

SW wind 10-15 seas 2-3 overcast/hazy. With the red tide riding in on the south winds were heading out north of Anclote in hopes of finding cleaner water. Well it ended up paying off we had a fair haul on a pretty bouncy day. Some red grouper a nice mangrove snapper grey trigger fish among a pile of white grunt.   Captain Tyler.

A fun day with my buddy Jim as he's here for a few days and we're doing a little bit of everything. For today's adventure we found some fun size tarpon in some back creeks and were able to seal the deal on one. In my opinion other than the few permit we have here small tarpon are a tough tough game. This guy fell for a DOA bait buster and we had a...

S wind 5-10 increasing to 10-15 seas 3-4 hazy. Huge red tide kill here! Tons of dead fish just offshore. Weather came in and seems to have helped the red tide push the fish out. Had a real slim catch today and what we did catch were real small. Put the boat right on previously productive spots with no luck some producing no fish in 15 min of fishin...
