Jan Feb March 2024 It’s been a fantastic start to 2024 for HBFSF!  We thank everyone for their support so far this year and we wish everyone a Happy Easter and hope you enjoy your break. Steve's monster longtail tuna, probably the biggest we have ever caught measuring over 140cm and 30+kg. As we get deeper into autumn, we are excited for the changes in season as we see different species move into the bay.  Tuna is our mainstay this time of year with big trophy longtails the prize.  We have been lucky enough to boat some great fish with plenty over the 20kg mark. School longtails, queenfish and mac tuna have also been caught and are always a stack of fun for anglers with multiple hookups possible and plenty of bending!! Other species that have been caught lately have been small and large mouth nannygai, cod, coral trout, school and Spanish mackerel, bonefish, cobia and of course our famous golden trevallys. Guide Life  A few windy periods saw the guides tackle some freshwater barramundi and a few personal bests.  A great change of scenery for the guides. We still have availability for our autumn season so get in quick to enjoy some of our world class longtail tuna fishing.
