July 13 2019 The weather patterns are offering up the norm here in Key West with S and SE winds and temps in the mid to upper 80s with some days reaching 92 degrees. Nothing out of the norm for the Southernmost city here right on the edge of the tropics.. This time of the year the weather really opens up some possibilities in our fishing, especially on the smaller boats.. Thats A BEAST! barracuda. Summer flats fishing with Dream Catcher Charters. Fishing Report On our backcountry fishing charters here out of Key West at Dream Catcher Charters anglers have been getting some decent shots at tarpon lately. Not a bunch of fish being caught but about every day we are jumping a tarpon or two on our fishing charters. We know that after about 9 am the tarpon fishing can get very tough with the heat so our fishing guides have been setting the day up for some rod bending action to entertain our guests.
