The Roatan Express MV was a 195 tons vessel built in 1973. On the 31st September 1992 the Roatan Express departed the Port of Tampa on route for Honduras. She developed a leak and sank approximately 80 miles off Fort Myers. This wreck is known to hold Goliath Grouper, lots of Gag Grouper and Amberjacks, Mutton Snapper, and Sharks.
