Importing our fishing maps into your Humminbird GPS unit is easy. For some units, you can simply plugin your device or SD card and use the HWR, GPX, or KML file to import into your unit.
Within the fishing maps downloads, if you unzip the file you downloaded, you should see a HWR file. Copy the HWR file and on the SD card, create a new folder called "matrix" and paste the HWR file into it. Rename the HWR file to "DATA.HWR". For most units, you can now add the SD card to your GPS unit and have it import into the system. If this does not work for your unit, please follow these instructions for importing our fishing spots into your unit:

Once you have your SD card ready, power on your GPS unit and stick in the SD card and follow the instructions on the screen. Here is an example using an Humminbird 998c:
