Yes it rained again just before the weekend! But the river flows did not go up very much. The Grand is at 1250 now and headed down. The Chagrin is 932 and headed down. The fishing should improve all weekend. Today try the feeder creeks and by Saturday afternoon the main rivers will be very fishable. A few walleye have been caught on the Fairport p...

A few fish caught in Arcola yesterday and Paine creek should be worth a try today. No reports from the Chagrin but as the flows goes below 400 things should start picking up. If little or no rain tonight and tomorrow morning the Grand may be looking good for Friday/Saturday. Lets hope!

A few fish taken the last couple of days if you can find open water. There are some stretches that are fishable but by this time tomorrow with the rain and snow melt the Grand will be rising quickly. Had a few fish caught in the Chagrin river this morning quite a ways upstream. Not as much snow around Eastlake and further south so Chagrin should no...

Definitely try the Grand this weekend we haven't had conditions this good very often this year. Egg sac's still have been working well also trout beads in the clearer water have been producing. Slow the presentation...

We don't need any more rain! The Chagrin and Conneaut fished OK the last 3 days. Rain and snow melt will probably keep levels on the high side for a few days but it may be worth a try in some of the feeder streams around the area.
