5/4/19 18-Hour Gulfstar North Grounds Extended Day Trip

The Gulfstar had a good trip to the North Grounds for this special extended day venture. The boat departed and 6:00 AM on 5/4/19, and caught a great mixed bag of fish, and returned at midnight on the same day. They steamed up to the North Grounds and fished at wrecks, springs, ledges, and potholes. The ride out is not as long as it is to the Middle Grounds, but they caught some quality fish at a fraction of what a Middle Grounds trip costs. Guests enjoyed prepared meals and beverages, and live & dead bait, tackle, ice, and fish cleaning were all provided. The ride out was about 3-5 hours. Water depth was approximately 50-100 feet, and they caught plenty of Gray Snappers, Jolthead Porgies, Red Porgies, Lane Snappers, Vermillion Snappers, Yellowtail Snappers, and tons of White Grunts. Anglers also hooked up a few Graysby, King Mackerel, Lesser/Bar Amberjack, and Scamp.
