Wow, wow, wow — what a month for fishing in Fort Lauderdale! The mahi mahi showed up a little late this year, but when they did, they came in thick and hungry. We’ve been catching beautiful gaffer-size mahi, ranging from 8 to 15 pounds — an unexpected pleasure for this time of year. The sailfish are starting to show up strong too, mostly in 170 to 200 feet of water.
