Knottelln » Large pods of bait, Lots of birds working the Va. Beach oceanfront lately. Humpback whales & schools of dolphin have been feasting. Tautog & Seabass have been biting very good on the nearshore wrecks along with nice size Triggerfish. All boat maintenance has been completed for the winter & ready for the Spring season!
Knottelln » Large schools of Red & Blak Drum have been off the Va. Beach oceanfront lately. Also the inshore bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder & Speckled Trout bite has been very good. The offshore bite has not really developed as of yet but the Tilefish season has opened with limited catches. Black Seabass season opens on May 15th.
Knottelln » The Red & Black Drum bite has been picking up in the Chesapeake Bay around the shoals & in the surf. Flounder have also been showing up on some of the inshore wrecks. Tautog are still biting on some of the wrecks along with Seabass & some bluefish still in the mix. The spring fishing season is starting off good!
Knottelln » There has been some pretty waters pushing into the Norfolk Canyon lately. These waters will be holding lots of bait fish which will bring predator fish like Tuna, Mahi & Wahoo. The Tuna bite has already been decent & should only get better. Inshore fishing has been a bit slow as of late...but with water temps pushing into the upper 50s the tog bite is good & the black Drum should start showing fast. Flounder & Spadefish will soon be on some of the nearshore wrecks. Lets Go Fishing!
Knottelln » 2019 Spring & Summer fishing trips are booking now! There has been a great winter Tuna bite & we expect it to be a great season ahead!
