Captain Richard Rutland grew up in Mobile, Alabama and has been fishing the local waters of Mobile Bay for over 15 years. After 4 years in the US Navy, Captain Richard returned to Mobile to pursue his dream of becoming a charter captain. He is dedicated to making your guiding fishing trip as fun and safe as possible. Captain Richard is extremely into Angler Education. He gives many seminars and is always teaching someone something new every chance he gets.

Captain Richard is also part of the Cold Blooded Fishing Team. This father son duo competes on the IFA and the Louisiana Saltwater Series professional fishing circuit. As a part of his involvement in these organizations, he strongly supports preservation of all species of fish and works with other local organizations to aide in these efforts.
