It would be nice to be able to calculate the distance from port to a specific location and back. Having a "distance ruler" on the legend doesn't really cut it for this type of measurement.

I had been procrastinating about adding this feature for a while now, but knocked it out today. From the World Map, in the right panel, click the Enable Measurement feature. Once enabled, single click any place on the map to add a marker. Click the next point on the map and it will measure the distance. Please take a look at this video for fill instructions:
