Guntersville FIshing Charter January 15th Lake Guntersville fishing report.
This week phenomenal fishing has continued at guntersville. The lake is full of grass and the tigerbass stocking program has yielded instant results. I believe we are on the front edge of some of the best bass fishing the United States has ever seen here in guntersville Alabama. This weeks guide trips we landed 15-20 fish per day and had several over 4 lbs each day. Right now the most consistent pattern is fishing points and ditches near the main river channel. Our best baits this week were half oz jigs and crankbaits. As the prespawn phase matures I expect the fishing to naturally improve each week and it is setting up to be an excellent spring on lake guntersville. The new moon, longer days and warming water are secondary factors pushing bass up into the bedding areas. The primary factor is the number of days since they spawned last year. There are tons of small fish up shallow and some big ones. Most of the...

With drought conditions lingering over the southeastern United states the recent rains are a welcomed sight. Guntersville lake fishes much better when water is moving through the system and there is some color in the water. I expect excellent fishi...

Record setting high temps and a full moon that is now waning have the bass moving at Guntersville. I have guided everyday this week and the end result has been huge 5 fish stringers but getting to that result has been challenging. I have fished dee...
