Guntersville in May can be a lot of fun but it can also challenge your skill set. There are 3 completely different patterns emerging. Deep ledges are starting to fire when the current is rolling. Bream beds are a great way to get a lot of bites and the shad spawn can be the deal in the early morning hours. I did 3 guide trips this week and the nu...

Look for weedlines current rips and color changes...the dolphin won't be far behind! Blackfin Tuna action remains very good in 250-350' of water. A live bai...

The West Branch flow has leveled out around 450 cfs at Stilesville. The East Branch Beaverkill and Mainstem flows are dropping back after the rain. They should level out this afternoon. I landed this slot from the kayak this evening. Slots and over slots are in abundance right now especially in Gansett Bay. The good times are rolling especially if you are fishing the Bay where there are very big numbers of big stripers around. In fact this is the most big fish I have ever seen at this time of year. Slots are more plentiful than...
