Roaring Fork River Flow: 160/Aspen 517cfs/Basalt 1 020cfs/Glenwood Springs Conditions: Spring has sprung – water conditions are variable along the lower river below the Crystal River confluence. Warm weather speeds up runoff while cold spells will give us fishable windows. Above the Crystal the river is seeing higher water but with a nice green fi...

Frying Pan River   Flow: 152cfs/below Ruedi Reservoir Conditions: In great fishable shape with low and clear water! Just as most freestone fisheries are succumbing to runoff the Frying Pan begins to really turn-on. Longer and warmer days are providing improved fishing and longer windows of opportunity. Midge hatches are dependable most days and nu...

Colorado River – Flow: 3 270 cfs/Glenwood Springs Conditions: Spring has sprung – water conditions have deteriorated with the recent warm weather and snowmelt. Though we might still see a few days of fishable conditions and improved clarity you’ll have to be a local or get lucky with your timing to take advantage. Typical spring hatches of caddis...

Our last morning was one to remember for one angler. We were woken up early to catch bait and got lucky to catch 50-ish tubes at the cost of 3-4 yozuris per bait. It’s a good thing we put in the effort because that’s exactly what the tuna wanted. We rolled up to a bird…

The rivers are all headed straight up up and away... Don't fret though we'll get another window real soon. This coming weeks forecast is for lows in the mid 20s and highs in the low 50s so the high country is going to seize up again and the rivers will drop back quick. Water temps are in the 70s and everything in the lake is spawning. It's fun out there right now but it can also be challenging.
