We got into a new area along the coast just before lunch. We ended up making several long drifts with slow steady picking. Almost everybody had a shot at a nice yellowtail. Tomorrow we will be at a new location trying once again.

We were able to piece together a decent day of yellowtail fishing. It was never wide open but we were able to scratch away all day long. The fish weighed 8-14 pounds with the occasional standout.
