Galveston Fishing Report

Our Galveston Fishing Guides had an amazing week of fishing in Galveston, Texas.  A variety of species are already making their way to our decks, and it is only February.  Giant Bull Reds, Speckled Trout, Bay Snapper, Puppy Drum, Pompano, Slot Redfish, and flounder have been caught this past week.  The Galveston Jetties are producing some very nice catches, and our Bay and Marsh trips are doing excellent also.  Lots of fish just under the legal size to retain in the marshes right now, but with the red fish rate of growth at 1” per month…. We will be seeing more and more fish hit the ice.  Live shrimp has been the go to baits at the jetties as well as the bay and marshes.  This month we have already began to see alligators along the banks of the back lakes and marshes.  Mild temperatures have made this possible.  The gators already think it is spring time!

Spring Break is upon us and we are excited for some great fishing in Galveston.  Families come from all over the country to vacation in Galveston, and fishing is top priority.  Our Family Friendly Galveston Fishing Guides will ensure that your family is comfortable on the boat, and help you catch as many fish as possible.  If you want to bring home some fillets for your freezer as well as fresh fillets to bring to a local restaurant – our Galveston Fishing Guides will hook you up.
