Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
Starting off this beautiful Monday morning in Palm Coast myself and my clients decided to go look for some redfish, with a high tide I knew where there would be a group of reds hanging near some grass edges in the flats. A light tackle spinning rod rigged up with a popping cork was what we were throwing, under the popping cord we were using a 2/0 circle hook, and a tail hooked shrimp. Using a popping cork we were able to float these shrimp over some sparse oysters where there where some hungry redfish. After catching some nice redfish we decide to go look for some dinner.
Making a quick run to a new area, I switch up the tactics and we started fishing our shrimp on the bottom. Targeting some creeks we caught lots of different species including, flounder, black drum, sheepshead, and redfish. After that with only a little time left in the day we decided to go catch a few more mangrove snapper for the cooler. I stopped off at a dock on the edge of the intracoastal and we started catch mangroves right away, catching a few that were big enough to keep it was time to head back the the dock. Palm Coast fishing has been great the past few weeks with lots of variety its a great time to get out on the water.
