Galveston Bay Fishing Report 12-8-22

The fishing this time of the year is traditonally really good. Of course we have to get some good weather days, mainly between the fronts to get out there. I have been fishing the north end of the Galveston Bays over the past 2 months. I am using live shrimp fishing close to the bottom. The water temp has been changing, going up & down with the fronts that pass thru.

Some days they have been feeding real early & some days it is here and there. Staying consistent looking for bait and feeding activity has been the key to our success. On most outings we are catching lots of speckled trout and some red fish along with a few other species. It should stay good in this area for a month longer.
