Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
The first week in May and the Key West tarpon season is in full swing. May has begun with some beautiful weather this week. Love it or hate it the full moon is at the end of this week and that will have its affect both good and bad. The ten-day forecast shows mixed winds little bit of a breeze coming through on the weekend then back to normal next week. Temps are down currently but that will soon change. All in all it looks like a perfect May for some great backcountry fishing for tarpon and many other species. First thing a tarpon does when it gets hooked is jump.. Fishing Report Tarpon has been the focus of our inshore fishing trips here at Dream Catcher Charters. The last couple of weeks Fishing‘s been good. We are seeing a larger number of tarpon than we have in the last couple of years. The migration has begun and the fish are moving down the beaches in good numbers. Filling in the harbor and many of the channels and on the flats just like they should. See The Report on Wahoo and Mahi Fishing Key West My Key West fishing trips [...]
