Wow!!! This week was one for the ages. I guided everyday this week and guntersville showed out for us. Warm weather and good water color set the stage for phenomenal fishing. My clients averaged landing 25 bass per day with the average size almost 4 pounds. We tripled up on 5 pounders Wednesday and ended the day with 8 fish over 5 and two over 6. Our best baits have been crankbaits and swimbaits in 9 feet near points and humps. The forecast is for 60 degree weather through the new year so this type of fishing should keep getting better.
