The last two days my clients have landed a total of 73 quality bass at guntersville. This past week we completed 6 guide trips. The fishing is by far the best we have seen this year. Finally some consistent weather is on the way and it should yield phenomenal fish catch rates. The average catch rate per client this week was 30. The moon is waning so we have fish in all 3 phases of the spawn. There are fish roaming around out deep on bait, there is a group in 9-12 feet in the prespawn phase, there are fish searching for bedding areas and now there is a group post spawn feeding. Our best baits are a spinnerbait and jerkbait. If you would like to fish with a USCG licensed captain call 256-744-5185.
