Port Macquarie Recreational Fishing ReefCluster Co-ordinates: Centre - 31 25.044'S, 152 58.950'ENorth - 31 25.014'S, 152 58.950'EEast - 31 25.044'S, 152 58.980'ESouth - 31 25.074'S, 152 58.950'EWest - 31 25.044'S, 152 58.920'EDepth: 50mThe Port Macquarie recreational fishing reef on the states mid north coast was completed in February 2016. 20 concrete modules each weighing 23 tonnes and standing more than 5 metres tall were constructed in Newcastle and loaded onto a large barge which was towed more than 250 kilometres to the artificial reef site. Each module was expertly placed on the ocean floor at a depth of approximately 50m, 6.3km off the coast. The modules were positioned on the sea floor to maximise the volume of the reef, which is an impressive 1,600 cubic metres.https://www.youtube.com/embed/FpIEnItox_Q
