Length : 127 m

Sunk : 1945.03.21
Cause : torpedoed by U-1195

Depth
Shallowest Deepest

Lying : Upright
Condition : Some breakup
Seabed Type : Sand

Small Boat Launching : Probably the easiest(?) launch site for RIBs etc is Fort Bovisand which has full
facilities for divers.
Notes :
This is a safe dive and makes a good Novice introduction to both boat and wreck diving. I speak with
experience it was my first boat dive and the first time on a wreck. There is usually plenty of life on the
wreck although on busy week-ends this life tends to be divers. Ideally you should avoid Bank Holiday's etc.
I have seen a John Dory on one occassion. In the holds you can see such things as tank tracks. The stern
has broken away and is on its own lying apart from the main wreck.
