Notes :
This ship activated a magnetic mine while dropping anchor the night of 21/11/1940. This blew a large hole
in here side and she went down in about 3 minutes. No lives were lost. She was carrying a cargo of tin
plate and general cargo.
The wreck is fairly easy to find as a cardinal bouy warns shipping of her presence. She lies about 150
metres to the north west of the bouy.
As she is intact she is a lovely wreck to dive and you can swim into some of her holds. Other holds are
full to the top with packages of tin plate a metre square. This is mirror bright and is an interesting
sight. The price of tin must mean it is not worth the salvage for it to be still there.
