Fishing Report - Matagorda Bay - July 30 2012

Fish are still scattered in East Bay because of the wind and the muddy water.  Got a few great days in before today's West Wind blew in. Fish are being caught on croakers, shrimp, gulps, and Kelley Wigglers in the shrimp tails under corks.  West Bay is slow except for waders who can patiently take their time to wade deeper cuts.  Find good water movement and you will find some fish.  Make sure water is fishable. Here are a few pictures from this last week.  Be prepared for HOT weather if you stay in the boat.  Drink plenty of liquids.
