The summer is heating up with a lot of croaker coming in the bay. There has been a consistent kingfish bite near the inlet, and a good number of flounder still being caught in the bay for this time of year with multiple people limiting out. The surf action continues to be hot with kingfish, croaker, and spot. There are also some nice shark being caught out there if you are targeting them. Out at the wrecks there have been spadefish and triggerfish showing up with some heavier flounder as well. And offshore the tuna bite continues to be solid. Some Bluefin at Lumpy Bottom, and dolphin, yellowfin, and big eye tuna being caught out at the Washington Canyon.
Here is a nice flounder 6 pounds measured in at 23'' catch of the day
