Offshore: Today's winds and seas will ease back a fair bit but still keep you in sheltered waters with winds southeasterly 15 to 20 knots with seas 1.5 to 2 metres. Tomorrows conditions will be the best we have for over a week or so be ready to fish, with winds south to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots offshore in the morning and seas 1 to 1.5 metres. As conditions improve be ready to go for a few mackerel and quality reef fish in Sunshine Coast waters.
Noosa: Flathead, bream, trevally and whiting in the lower river with a few grunter and flathead along Tewantin stretch. Mangrove jack and trevally in Noosa Sound and in Woods Bay area. Mud crabs throughout the river.
Maroochydore: Flathead, trevally and heaps of average size bream from around and the Cod Hole and Chambers Island. Whiting and bream in the lower river. Mangrove jack in the creeks and around structures in the system. Mud crabs still throughout the river.
Mooloolaba: Some quality flathead and a few grunter around the Twin Bridges. Whiting and bream from the La Balsa sand basin. Mangrove jack from the bridges and snaggy areas of the river. Mud crabs in the canals and lower river.
Caloundra: Worth a try fishing in the sheltered waters of the Pumicestone Passage. Whiting and bream in Currimundi Lake. Flathead, bream and whiting along Golden Beach. Cod and trevally in Pelican waters. Mud crabs throughout the passage and in the creeks.
